Tell us about your role at TRI:
As Founder, I am grateful to have Megan Gluth-Bohan run the daily operations at TRI and I am able to utilize my skills and passion for developing business both on the customer side and supplier side, as well as train young people to learn the business.

Tell us a little about your family:
I am married with 3 girls (19, 16, 13) and a 5 year old boy, Harrison.  My wife runs an event business on our farm ( which caters to family fun entertainment in a friendly, country environment.  We love to travel as a family, and three teenagers in the house means all we can expect is the ‘unexpected’.

About your education or experience:
I am a proud graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. I also had the opportunity to represent the United States National Rugby Team (Eagles) from 1985-1993, and participated in three Rugby World Cup competitions.  I started in the Chemical Industry in 1988, and founded TRInternational (TRI) on August 15, 1994.

What sort of hobbies do you have?
My newest hobby is ballroom dancing with my wife.  We are training to compete in September, 2014 and just love it.  I enjoy reading non-fiction, particularly about the founding of the United States through the 19th century.  I enjoy riding my horse, Seabrook on our farm and on surrounding property.

What is your favorite thing about working at TRI?
Every day is different, but more importantly the quality of individuals on our staff is outstanding.  I like working with the people at TRI every minute of every day.

What would you like people to know about you?
I’m not as mean as I might come across.

Other than appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
I have a big presence… I walk in the room and it’s hard not to notice.  (6’6”, 265 lbs)

How do you typically spend your leisure time?
Dancing w/ my wife, reading, riding my horse.  I am also a geek, so a lot of tech stuff.
