Tell us about your role at TRI:
I am a current member of the Executive Team and represent our Human Resources Department.

Tell us a little about your family:
I come from a family of 5 and am the middle child of 3 girls.  I was born overseas while my father served time in the Army and am 1/2 Mexican and 1/2 Pacific Islander.  I am 3 years apart from my older sister, Camarin, and 9 years apart from my younger sister, Danielle. We all grew up with a focus on our education and sports and each played a sport during our college years. Each year my sisters and I plan a trip to spend time with our family in Brea, CA, where we grew up.  My father is a Registered Nurse and my mother is an Educator, with a focus on ESL and Special Education. I was raised with a strong sense of family and am blessed to have close relationships with both my parents and my siblings.

About your education or experience:
Graduated from Seattle University in June of 2006 with a BA in Marketing and I began my time with TRI as the first Seattle University Intern, in 2004.  Since that time I've held many positions in the organization - Accounting, Customer Service and Office Administration.

What sort of hobbies do you have?
Scrapbooking, playing softball, cooking, camping, reading romance novels, writing poetry and playing the ukulele.

What is your favorite thing about working at TRI?
I've worked for TRI since 2004 and truly love the atmosphere and giving nature of our organization.  Since my start I've seen and experienced many instances where the organization gives back to the employees through continuing education opportunities and incentive programs.  I feel fortunate to be a part of an organization that sees each employee as more than a "worker".  TRI values its employees and it is one of my favorite things about working here.

What would you like people to know about you?
I am an open, loving and passionate chica with a zest for life and true friendships. I wear my heart on my sleeve and will tell it like it is, if you ask me. A few things that make me smile - eating cold fruit, making tamales at Christmas, cuddling by a warm fire, game nights, bubble baths, family dinners, my sisters, dancing in the street, singing EVERYWHERE, dressing up, dance-dance revolution, diving in wet grass and standing in the batter’s box!!

Other than appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
My warm personality and open heart.

How do you typically spend your leisure time?
On my leisure time I enjoy going for runs in my neighborhood, playing catch at the park, watching baseball games (when in season), arts and crafts with my friends and writing music.
