NACD 2020 Spring Regulatory and Responsible Distribution Workshops

March 10, 2020

March 10-12, 2020
Location: Long Beach, CA, USA

The Spring 2020 Responsible Distribution Workshop scheduled for March 11-12, 2020 at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel in Long Beach, CA have been canceled.

NACD continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation related to the spread of COVID-19 including working with federal, state, and local authorities to provide members with the latest developments. The bottom line is the health and safety of our members is our first priority. After much consideration, the association has canceled next week’s 2020 Spring Workshops (Spring Responsible Distribution Workshop and Spring Regulatory Workshop: International Trade for Chemical Distributors) in Long Beach, California.

This decision was made due in large part to the spreading of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in Los Angeles County and the states of emergency declared today for both L.A. County and the State of California.

Responsible Distribution is a mandatory third-party verified environmental, health, safety & security program that lets members demonstrate their commitment to continuous performance improvement in every phase of chemical storage, handling, transportation, and disposal. NACD members play a leadership role in their communities as information resources and are eager to provide the same assistance and guidance to local, state, and federal legislators on technical issues relating to the safe handling, storage, transportation, use, and disposal of chemical products.
