Calcium Carbonate is a common substance found as rock and is the main component of the shells of marine organisms, snails, and eggshells. Uses: As the active ingredient in agricultural lime, in medicine as a calcium supplement or antacid, as an exfoliant, to make food and cosmetics whiter, a filler in deodorants and used in many personal care products. PCC: Precipitated calcium carbonate, or PCC is a bright, high purity mineral. It is a cost effective material used to improve the physical characteristics of finished products.
