Calcium Peroxide
Calcium peroxide is a solid peroxide with a white or yellowish color. It is essentially insoluble in water but it will dissolve in acid to form hydrogen peroxide. In contact with water it will immediately begin to decompose releasing oxygen. Uses: In agriculture as an oxygen fertilizer, in aquaculture to oxygenate and disinfect water, in ecological restoration to treat soil. CAS# (1305-79-9)
