Tetrahydro Furan is a colorless liquid with a smell similar to that of diethyl ether. It is water miscible and is the fully hydrogenated analog of the aromatic organic compound furan. It is one of the most polar of the organic functional class of ethers. Uses: As a modern organic chemical laboratory solvent, a solvent for natural and synthetic resins and in polymerization.
