Sodium Perborate
Sodium perborate or PBS is a white, odorless, water-soluble chemical compound. It is a less aggressive bleach than sodium hypochlorite, causing less degradation to textiles and dyes. Uses: A source of active oxygen in detergents, laundry detergents, cleaning products, and laundry bleaches, in tooth bleaching formulas, as a disinfectant, and as a "disappearing" preservative in some eye drops.
