Tell us about your role at TRI:

I’m a facilitator; I support our CEO, Megan Gluth-Bohan, in anything that she needs and am a conduit for the staff to ensure they have what they need from her.

About your education or experience:

I have worked in Administration since 2008, gaining a broad range of knowledge in Operations Management, Human Resources, Training and Staff Development, and Auditing.

What sort of hobbies do you have? OR How do you typically spend your leisure time?

I enjoy kayaking, hiking with my dog and husband, reading books of all genres (but mostly sci-fi and military history), and attempting to garden. When it’s raining, I like sitting on my porch with my fire-pit crackling, a book, and a glass of red wine.

What is your favorite thing about working at TRI?

I like that everyone comes in with a productive attitude, that we have a job to do and are going to tackle it no matter what the obstacles. It’s very uplifting and motivating.

What would you like people to know about you?

I love to ask questions and learn more about pretty much everything – please share your opinions and expertise with me!

Other than appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?

My random earrings. I have over 150 pairs and try to wear a different set each day, matching the season or day if possible. The goal is 365 pairs so I can celebrate the entire year!

List your top 3 favorite Podcasts/Books?

Stranger in a Strange Land – Robert Heinlein, Pastwatch: the Redemption of Christopher Columbus – Orson Scott Card, Small Gods – Terry Pratchet.

What three traits define you?

Tenacity, loyalty, and empathy.

What advice would you give your younger-self if you met you as a kid?

Don’t worry so much. You can’t control what life hands you, but you can take it and run whatever way you want.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I would love to learn to blow glass. I can sit and watch a glass-artist for hours and am fascinated by the shapes and building of color within a piece.
